Our genuine interest in our industry means we constantly stay informed and educated on any changing standards so that you don’t have to.

Beneath all the formalities, our team simply wants to provide you with accurate, honest and tailored fire prevention and protection. We are privately owned and family-run by Managing Director Joel Sharp and fellow Director Simone Sharp. Our carefully built team produces consistent and reliable outcomes for our clients which has led to an immense rate of client referrals that we are extremely proud of.

Rapidly growing to meet this space in the market, word about Joel’s diligent approach to prioritising client objectives and relationships coupled with ensuring availability and responsiveness spread throughout WA. His approach has now filtered through to a team of 42, servicing hundreds of clients ranging from Crown Perth to the Water Corporation.

Office Manager

With a background in accounting, Genine has been with FireShield since 2013. She has compiled a vast knowledge of the fire industry, and is adept in people management. No wonder she is now our very capable office manager.

Damon Parsons

General Manager of Operations

Damon was one of FireShield’s first apprentices. With a clear thirst for knowledge, he quickly moved up to become our service manager. Damon takes pride in his knowledge of industry standards, and has the ability to problem solve the most complex defects, all while leading his team.

Joel Sharp

Managing Director

Joel founded FireShield with Simone in 2012. With his diligent approach to prioritising client objectives, and skills acquired from many years in the industry, FireShield’s growth was assured. With the business now well established, Joel enjoys mentoring his staff, and has become a trusted figure in the WA fire protection industry.

Simone Sharp

Director

Simone founded FireShield with Joel after a career in real estate. This experience enabled FireShield to penetrate the commercial and residential sectors from the very beginning. Simone has worked in all areas of the business, but now focuses her attention on client management.

Lukasz Swietojanski

Lead Estimator

Lukasz started in the fire industry in 2004, manufacturing fire panels. This technical knowledge is what secured his first role with FireShield, as a technical supervisor assisting with training. But never one to rest on his laurels, Lukasz is now playing a key role in obtaining new clients for FireShield.
